More Family Easter Fun!

Yesterday, there was a lot of activity in the Creative and Curious Kids! household. The weather was perfect and the company even better- it was nice to have the kiddos home and Daddy at the same time! Our day was filled with softball fun, freeze tag, dying eggs, and more! All this activity just pooped poor little man out!

We started out the day with outdoor play and then moved inside for our Easter activities. The girls enjoyed making homemade cards for their loved ones.

Next, we dyed Easter eggs. We tried the Onion peel experiment that I recently posted. If you missed it, check it out: An Eggcellent Science Experiment. Look at the results! I just loved the marbled look and what a unique color!

We also tried-red cabbage leaves, but it didn't work out quite right because I forgot to get alum powder. We tried it anyway to experiment. It will be fun to try it again with the right ingredients.

And now for the colorful eggs....

This is the first year that I tried brown eggs- I love how they turned out- such deep, rich colors.

And just a few more fun pics.....

And what a way to end the day with a little Bunny Hop!! Dad caught us having fun on tape. Great way to preserve memories for the kids!

Have a wonderful Easter filled with new life and many blessings!
Jen
