Welcome to Our Igloo!

After working 50 hours of overtime shoveling snow, plowing, and salting, the last thing I thought my husband would be doing is building an igloo with our two girls. Well, that is exactly what he did- what a guy! Here is a peek at their awesome creation.
Abby is inside digging out the middle of the igloo.

As an extension to their creative snow play, I thought it would be fun to teach the girls more about igloos and the Inuit people of from the North. Also, I think it would be neat to build a more realistic igloo, so I did a little research. Enjoy the links that I found.

I'm exhausted just from watching the video. I didn't realize all the work that went into building an igloo! Awesome.
