Tonight is the night when the little guy visits our house! The girls are getting excited. I'm not sure how he gets in, but he always leaves such a mess for me to clean up. Little green footprints!!(green washable paint on a Mommy's pinky finger- shhh! Don't tell anyone!) Up the side of the sink, onto my counter tops, with a trail to a sweet surprise for the girls. Last year he left gummy bears. I suggested that we build a leprechaun trap, which I thought would be fun, but the girls thought that it was too cruel to trap a leprechaun. I reassured them that we would let the leprechaun go if we caught him, but they just wouldn't go for it.

Awwww! I love that tradition! I may just have to "borrow" it from you :-) Btw, got your whopping 10 entries for the cupcake contest! LOL They really are YUMMY! Good luck!
Parenting Pink-
I know I was being a comment hog!!
Of course, I would love for you to borrow the idea. I posted it so that other families could join in on the fun!! :)

This sounds like so much fun. I learned a new little St. Patrick's Day "tradition" I knew nothing about. It may be as old as the hills, but one of my three year olds let me in on the secret on Thursday. He told me if you don't wear green on St. Patrick's Day you get a pinch. I'll have to watch out for him tomorrow!
Thanks for the link--we make fruit loop rainbows tomorrow.
Trish
Trish-
I better get my green out! I never heard about getting a pinch. Cute!

Such a FUN idea!!! Enjoy!
Next year, I think I'll do this! Fun idea! And, yes wear that green! I told my husband he needs to wear green or those office ladies will be after him! ;)
Happy St. Patty's Day!
That is such a cute idea! I love it!
