Spring!! Time to Explore Outdoors

Oh, how I can't wait for Spring!  I love everything about it- hearing the birds in the morning, new life all around, and exploring outside with the kids.  We are studying Rocks and Minerals at the moment.  I did this with Sunshine when she was in first grade and we had a lot of fun with the unit.  Peanut is excited to be studying it and can't wait for her very own official Rock Walk!  Here is my past post relating to this topic:
