Gotta Love Play-doh!

Peanut and I had some alone time, so we chose to play with her new play-doh kit. We had so much fun pretending that we owned our very own bakery. This is something that you can do with your kids without the actual kit. Have fun creating ice cream for an ice cream shop or hamburgers for your own drive-thru! Beginning money skills can also be incorporated as you sell the products to each other.

Even though the creative thinking and math skills are important, even more so is the memory of having fun together!

Have a great day!

Jen

  3. Thanks for the boost, glad to know I'm not the only one in this boat.

I hope your trip with your husband went well. I know those first few months can be rough. I used to keep telling myself--well at least I'm not gaining any weight yet:). Take care.

  4. Believe it or not, play doh is one of the things I love playing best with my daughters. It's one of those "oldies but goodies" when it comes to toys/crafts that never gets boring!

Btw, how are you feeling? Just checking in on the mom-to-be!

  5. I'm hanging in there! Nausea pretty much all of the time. Can't wait for it to go away. Tired too! I fell asleep twice today while sitting on the couch.
Isn't it funny how you forget how the 1st trimester is until you go through it again.
