Recently, I started revisiting a couple of books that I have relating to creativity, curiosity, and thinking. In Raising Curious Kids, by Nancy Sokol Green, she suggests simple activities to develop your child's imaginations.
One of the things that she suggests that I would like to do more with my own children is to ask them thought provoking and open-ended questions. Below I'd like to share a few ideas for Valentine's questions. Hopefully, the result will be a few interesting and fun discussions.
Why is a heart a symbol to show love?
What would be a very unusual Valentine and why?
Should people give Valentines to their pets?
What do you think are better store-bought or homemade Valentines? Why?
You received the funniest Valentine? What does it look like?
Enjoy your day!
Jen
