To keep organized and to motivate the kids, I created a summer activity board. It is divided into three parts: Summer Reading, Boredom Busters, and Things to Do.

-Enrichment and Thinking Activities
Example: Create riddles about zoo animals or Create a wanted poster for a character in a fairy tale.
-Summer Fun worksheets(mazes, word searches etc. from funschool)
Summer Reading...
-Barnes and Noble Reading Journal
-Borders Double Dog Dare Challenge
-Chuck E Cheese Reward Calendar
-Scholastic Family Reading List

ReplyDeleteDid you get the invite to join my tribe on triberr? Once you join the tribe, your blog posts automatically get tweeted by the 7 other members of your tribe. there isn't any extra work involved. You now can be in more than one tribe. No pressure either way, just wanted to touch base.
